March - 2013
We've been enjoying a few cool days this month with one cold front after the other. The fishing has remained pretty steady throughout the month. We're catching lots of Mutton Snapper, Amberjack, Kingfish. We're also catching some Wahoo and Dolphin (Mahi-Mahi) both schoolies (smaller Dolphin) and a slammer here and there! Although we are still seeing some Sailfish along the reef, the sailfish bite has definitely cooled off this month. Looks like spring is here! Book your offshore fishing charter today!
| February - 2013 Offshore fishing in Islamorada this month has been spectacular! We've been catching a potluck of just about everything! The best thing about Florida Keys fishing is the vast variety of fish we catch year round. This month we caught Mutton Snapper and Yellow Eyed Snapper...both super tasty. We also caught a bunch of Black Fin Tuna, Amberjack and King Mackerel as well as a few Sailfish and Wahoo.

December - 2012
Islamorada offshore fishing has been great in December! Now is the time to reserve your holiday fishing charter in the Florida Keys! This month is really starting out with a bang and we expect the fishing to get better and better this winter. We've had some warm weather, a little breezy and great fishing along the reef. The bait patches are plentiful right now with ballyhoo, cigar minnows, sardines and speedo-s! We're kite fishing, live bait ballyhoo fishing catching Sailfish, Big Blackfin Tuna, Dolphin fish (Mahi-Mahi), and Kingfish. We're also catching really nice Mutton Snapper! November - 2012
November has brought in
the first few cold fronts of the season. We're starting to
see quite a few sailfish along the reef. A few trips this
month we were able to find and catch a dozen or so dolphin
as well. Yellowtail Snapper, Mangroves and other bottom fish
were caught as well as Kingfish. We expect Sailfish to
really light up in December. Make your holiday Florida Keys

June - 2012
Summer dolphin season has
continued to provide many fun filled days
out on the water. We have been seeing lots
of schoolies, some gaffers and the occasional
slammer,
finding dolphin anywhere from 12-20
miles offshore. Having the right bait many
days has been key!
We've also been catching
black fin tuna out around the hump and an
occasional wahoo.

May - 2012
We have had a pretty
great May here aboard the Phoebe. The
weather has been a little wet, yes we've
seen some rain but the fishing has been
stellar! Dolphin season seems to be in full
swing. We've taken our share of smaller
schoolies (20" or better) and some gaffers.
Thanks to our "secret
weapon" we've hooked some monster wahoo! It
doesn't get much better folks...wahoo are
fast, powerful and oh so delicious!
The most exciting day
this month was our Blue Marlin encounter!
The dolphin we were fishing were so thick he
was in there enjoying an all he could eat
buffet. We reeled a schoolie up, put him on
a heavy rod and threw him out....The Blue
Marlin came after him sure
enough!...Unfortunately he took half our
dolphin and we couldn't get him to eat again
but it sure was an exciting day on the
water!
I expect June to be just
as great if not better...so take a break
from the grind and let's go fishing!

April - 2012
April
offshore fishing in the Florida Keys has
been a potluck of hooking some incredible
fish! Although dolphin fishing took off a
little slow, we have been able to find
plenty of "schoolie" size dolphin fish
in the weeds most days. Our best days have
been sight fishing (scouting for debris to
cast around). Find a log, a barrel anything
floating out there and look out: FISH ON!
While trolling we've kept ourselves busy
reeling in some heavy hitting amberjack and
the fast and furious wahoo! We've also seen
a handful of sailfish hook ups. Summer is
almost here and we anticipate the bite to
warm up as well. Don't miss out on a
